The Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE) was launched in 2003 by the Ministry of Trade & Infrastructure as a national effort to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in Singapore. It was re-restructured in 2014 as a private-led initiative supported by the government to continue its national mandate to drive entrepreneurship initiatives in Singapore. ACE primarily works through 3 main avenues to cultivate the entrepreneurial scene in Singapore. This is achieved through direct support where ACE works directly with entrepreneurs and render assistance in the form of financial resources, networks, mentorship and internationalisation; education, where ACE reaches out to schools and youths to support their entrepreneurial efforts via internship matching or talks. Finally, ACE also seeks to be the voice for entrepreneurs and lobby for relevant policy changes that are more conducive towards entrepreneurship. All in all, ACE is guided by their vision to build a dynamic and sustainable startup ecosystem in Singapore.
