In partnership with the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA), Facebook has set up Startup Station Singapore - an acceleration program for growth-stage, data-driven startups in Singapore and Southeast Asia. Powered by Rainmaking, this 6-month program guides startups through a growth sprint that ends in a demo day for startups to present on their achievements during the course of the program.As part of the program, startups will be offered complimentary co-working space in PIXEL, an innovation space in One North run by IMDA. It will also provide access to FbStart, Facebook's program for developers. Through IMDA facilitation, startups may also access a Regulatory Sandbox, which will allow them to develop new ideas through the use of data in a live environment.It is Facebook's first startup acceleration program in Asia focusing on data innovation, and second globally, after the Startup Garage program in Paris. This Singaporean edition of their ongoing efforts to promote innovative startups with a focus on data analytics will begin its first cycle in February 2019. Startup Station Singapore is a 6-month program that helps startups to grow, develop better ways of working with data, and connect to a wide network of opportunity. The program will help startups access Facebook's mentors, form connections with investors, and provide access training, tools, and input.
